My life, just read we are 2-0 down at Stanway (ht), both goals coming from assists from Kevin McLeod the ex-everton and col utd player who started the season with Conf prem braintree town!!!!!!!!

Dont think i'l get too emotional if we dont end up getting anything out of todays result lol!

On a positive note, players and co should take great credit for their performances this season that it makes an opposition manager have to pull in a player of that quality to face us. Shows how far we've progressed over last 12 months.

Keep up the great work dragons, what ever the final score.

Unlucky in the second half. Gave it a really good go.

I've seen McLeod play for Everton when he was a young player.

After those 2 silly goals we gifted Stanway with thoughts turned to Sat. and another hammering but our boys played their hearts out and had about 70% of the play throughout the match . Young Marcus Spindler played a faultless 90mins but if only we had an out and out striker to knock the goals in we would be a dozen or more points ahead than we are !! As for that Kevin Mcleod I was arms length away when he gave that linesman abuse and recieved his booking OMG what nasty piece of work he is and it reminds you what a decent squad of lads we have. To end on a funny note it was hillarious to hear the ref talking to Tola on first name terms. ;D :-*

Thanks Mr Pitt for admitting in todays Gazette that you won the match ugly !!!!! At least when our lads come off the pitch maybe not always winning but their heads are high after playing fairly and gamely . ;D :-*

Wivvy - hi are you suggesting that Stanway did not play Mondays game fairly and gamely?

Considering the local derby angle, and both sides scraping for points at each end of the table, I thought the game was played in a pretty friendly manner.

Must have missed Wivenhoe having won the fair play awards this season

Hi Swifty ... Not suggesting that Stanway played as you "quoted" just that I took up on Mr Pitts mention about winning ugly ..I didn't know if it was from the players point of view or his own. No you hadn't missed us winning any awards ...but...if there was an award for a team recieving no monetary rewards for playing each week then yes we may be in the running. Good local derby tho !!! ;D :-* ::)
